How to Set Up a Basic StorPass Wallet Pass in PHYREM

Overview

This article walks you through creating the Basic StorPass Wallet Pass for an organization within the PHYREM platform. The basic pass serves as the base template for future duplications across branches. It includes API setup, front and back pass design, field configuration, and relevance settings.

Important:
Do NOT activate the Wallet Pass until the scheduled Go-Live date.

Prerequisites

  • PHYREM Admin or Organization Owner access

  • Design assets (logo, icons, images)

  • Facility information (addresses, website links, etc.)

  • Approved Wallet Pass Design Guide

Step-by-Step Setup Procedure

Step 1: Log In to PHYREM

  1. Log in as Admin.

  2. Using Admin's access, log in as Organization Owner via email, full name, or organization name.

Step 2: Start Creating the Pass

Navigate to:
Content → Wallet Pass Builder → Add Pass

Step 3: Select StorPass

Under Cache Passes, select Storage Pass.

Step 4: Choose the Branch

Under Step 1 – Basic Info, select the facility/branch.

Step 5: Enable API Integration

  1. Turn on API Integration.

  2. Select the correct 3rd-party platform (SiteLink or StorEDGE).

  3. Click Connect.

Step 6: Complete Basic Information

Follow these formats exactly:

  • Pass Title: [Facility Name]

  • Display Name: [Facility Name]

  • Pass Description: [Facility Name]

  • Icon: Use the Branch Icon

⚠️ Ensure the facility name is correct before proceeding.

Step 7: Configure Advanced Options

Set the following:

  • Send Install Notification: Enabled

  • QR / Barcode Type: QR-Code

  • QR Content: Facility Website

  • Text Below Code: None

SHARE feature must remain OFF by default.

Click Continue to go to Step 2.

Step 8: Front Pass Design

Ensure it matches the approved design:

  • Logo Text: (empty)

  • Text Color: #333333

  • Background Color: #ffffff

  • Label Color: #333333

  • Logo: Branch Logo

  • Thumbnail: Transparent (Fixed)

  • Status Icon: Enabled

  • Icon Position: Middle Center

  • Icon Size: Medium

Step 9: Header Field

  • Label: Payments

  • Default Value: Click ⬆️

  • Field Type: Fixed

  • Alignment: Left

Step 10: Main Field

  • Label: First & Last Name

  • Default Value: Full Name

  • Field Type: API

Step 11: Sub Fields

Gate Code

  • Field Type: API

  • Default Value: Tenant Gate Code

Unit / Space

  • Default: Unit #

  • Type: API

  • SiteLink: Paid to Date

  • StorEDGE: Paid Through

Step 12: Secondary Sub Field

  • Label: “To make payments and see more info”

  • Default: “Click ... or ⋮ to View Pass Details”

  • Type: Fixed

Step 13: Back Pass Design

Latest Update(s)

  • Value: “Welcome to [Facility Name]”

Location Information

  • Facility physical address

Payment Options

Enable both:

  • Autopay enrollment

  • Save credit card details

  • Label: My StorMap

  • Text: “Click here to find your Unit/Space”

Add:

  • Important URLs

  • Contact numbers

  • Third-party service links

Click Save & Continue.

Stop Before Activation

On Step 4 (Pass Relevance):

  1. Click Dashboard (top left).

  2. Select Leave on the pop-up.

****Activate the Wallet Pass (Go-Live Only)**

Review Pass Design Sections

Ensure all elements match the new facility:

Front Pass Design

  • Logo

  • Thumbnail

  • Status icon settings

Header & Main Fields

These should already be correct.

Sub Fields

Validate:

  • Gate Code

  • Unit/Space

  • Paid Thru

Back Pass Fields

Update:

  • Location address

  • Payment links

  • Useful links

  • StorMaps link

Click Save & Continue.

Pass Relevance

Skip geofencing and beacon setup (not used in Basic Digital Onboarding).

Save & Continue.

Pass User Data Mapping

Map the correct tenant data fields.

Filter Wallet Pass Holders

Set filters for tenants who should receive installation links.

Verify Wallet Pass Holder

Enable:

"Allow users to download via email or mobile number verification."

Welcome Loading Screen

Select the loading animation style.


On Go-Live day:

Click Activate & Create Pass.

Conclusion

You have now created the Basic StorPass, which serves as the template for all duplicated passes. Wait until Go-Live day before activating the pass.
